Will Hormone Imbalance Cause Bleeding Problem?

I am lakshmi. I have hormonal imbalance. I am 46. I have been taking regestrone 5 mg tables for 2 months. i have bleeding problem. it it course? how many days i can use this tablet? inspite of taking this tablet i have bleeding. Iam using this once a day. please help me.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

Yes hormonal imbalance with high estrogen levels causes bleeding.
You have abnormal vaginal bleeding. It is due to high estrogen level. You need to take progesterone to stop the bleeding or you can take OC pills. These all are prescription based medicine so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
