Will I Be Protected By Starting 'microgynon 30' On Day 7 Of Period?
Good Morning,
I am currently taking the microgynon 30 contraceptive pill. Due to extreme pain my doctor suggested I ran some pills packs together so as to miss my pill free weeks when I would have a period. I followed his advice and did this. I think it must have been in the 3rd month of packs I started bleeding mid-cycle which I took as my bodies way of saying "I really need you to have a period now" so I stopped taking them and a normal period has happened.
I am now on my 5th day of my period and am wondering if I start my pills again on day 7, will I be protected instantly as normal, considering I didn't finish my last pill pack?
