Will It Cause A Problem While Taking Epidural Steroid Injection After Drinking Vodka Last Night?
I am scheduled for an epidural steroid injection this afternoon at 2 pm in my lumbar area. I was unable to fall asleep last night, so at 3 am, I drank 3 oz of vodka and water, and I fell asleep. Would that cause a problem with the epidural injection?

It will not cause any problem. I will suggest that you talk to your doctor about this if you think it is a recurrent problem that needs medical assistance. Alcohol to fall asleep is certainly not the best way to address sleeping difficulties.
