Will It Hurt A Type 2 Diabetic On Metformin To Take Ditropan As She Has Urine Leakage?
Will it hurt a type 2 diabetic (42 yr old) on Metformin to take Ditropan 5mg tablets as she has urine leakage, goes to urinate frequently during the day, and still gets up during the night to urinate? She cannot have her bladder tacked up at this time.
Ditropan 5 mg is oxybutrin 5 mg which needs to used cautiously. In diabetes as there is no direct contraindications for the usage of this drug, you can use it but if there is any evidence of kidney disease and gastrointestinal problems it is better to ask your doctor before using it
Thanks
