Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I take lorazapam and had a urine test that came back negative. I then was denied my prescription and I have miners disease & severe panic & anxiety. I went to another place and had them do blood & urnie. It also came back negative. I drink a lot of water, and take bio-identical hormones, fish oil, vitamin D, a pro-biotic, prilosec, and use a compounded pain cram for my back & feet. I do not know what happened to cause this false negative and the Dr.'s office nor Labcorp will talk to me. Please tell me what to do. I only have a few weeks worth of medicine left.
In your case, reason for false negative urine test is drinking lot of water and taking multivitamin. Some time, if patient takes benzodiazepine in low dose and drink lot of fluid, it leads to false negative test. In that case, decrease fluid intake and multi-vitamin for one week and try to urine test next week. Hope so, you would get positive result.
Thanks
