Hello;
welcome to HealthcareMagic
Rebamipide is a drug used to treat gastritis and so if it is prescribed for your mom she can take it.As far as the study of the drug says it will not have any sort of bad effect on the BP or sugar levels of your mom and is comparatively safe.The few side effects which are seen are constipation ;diarrhoea;nausea;and if the person is allergic to the medicines then there may be itching and rash also but these are seen in few people and not all.So let her start.
Wish her a speedy recovery.
Thanks
