Will Taking Mexacline Causes Sleepiness?

I am taking mexacline right now but doesn t help, just makes me sleepy. they say I have positional vertigo. have went to physical therapy for exercises but nothing is stopping these dizzy spells, what can I do now to help get over this. been going on for 3 months now.

You may not have the right diagnosis, I do not encourage the use of Meclizine for positional vertigo....way overprescribed with poor results....are you doing what are called the BRANDT-DAROFF exercises for the BPPV?
