i take zinnat 500 because i suffer from strep throat. the problem is that the doctor wasnt sure if its a bacterial or viral infection. what can i do if it is a viral infection? and what effects are there if i take zinnat with a viral infection?. and can i drink a glass of wine while taking zinnat?

no need of taking antibiotics if it's viral.
clinically it's difficult to differentiate bacterial and viral.
but viral is associated with joint pains.
viral subsided on its own .
alcohol have interactions wth the drug, it may reduce efficacy of drug .
after ur infection subsides then u can take it
