A month back, we met a gynecologist. She advised to monitor the ovalution for last month. We had

scanned for ovalution at day 10,13 and 17. At 13th day we have seen a growth of follicule of about

1.3 cm and at 17th day scan there was no growth ( all are small follicules). The doctor told us to

wait for the period on the 28th day and if periods is not coming, she told to call back.

And on expected day, my wife didn't had her periods, We had consulted the doctor. We were asked to

take meprate pill by our gynecologist to overcome the period issue last month. We are told that she

will have periods within 5 days after taking the pill. But again, my wife didn't had her periods.

Then she told us to test for UPT and the test turns out to be positive.

Now we are in doubt that will consuming the meprate tablet will lead to any harmfult effects to my

wife's pregnancy.

Additional Note:
My wife has irregular peiods and during last cycle (by about 21st day), my wife had got cough issues

and we had consumed pills (Alaspan, Ventryl syrup and Metclav 625) for curing the cough issues as we

are in assumption that in day 17 scan no follicule growth was visible as told by doctor.
