I am taking a urine drug screening test for pre-employment. I have taken my own prescribed Alprazolam 0.25mg twice in the last 24 hours due to anxiety of being unemployed. I do not take this regularly at all (generally only once or twice a month). I am very active, no abnormal blood results found in my recent CPE bloodwork done in the last month. I do take Adderall 10mg XR 1 po q am, Adderall 10mg 1 po q d @ 2-4pm, and lastly Trazadone 50mg 1 po qhs for sleep. I take these regularly. I am concerned that these medications will be detected in my urinalysis test and I am wondering if this may hinder my opportunity for employment. I am a healthcare provider and would like a professional s opinion about the potential results. The urine test is to be done at Quest Diagnostics. The test code=22569N, SAP 10-50/300-2K/NIT. Should I wait a few days before taking the test to decrease Alprazolam results? How about the Trazadone and Adderall since I take them daily? I have 6 days to take the drug screen.
