Will The Use Of Lynoral Prevent Pregnancy?

We r trying for an issue for last 3 years. But could not get succeed. My doctor prescribed me duphaston from d5 & lynoral from d15 with duphaston for next 10 days.. While I've read somewhere that lynoral is use for prevent pregnancy. Kindly guide me whether I am going for a right treatment.

Estrogen supplementation during an IVF cycle involving gonadotropins or gonadotropin-releasing hormones is commonly used by many infertility specialists. One of the major hormones of pregnancy, estrogen, helps maintain the endometrial lining of the uterus.

Duphaston 10 Mg Tablet Is A Progestin (Female Hormone). It Works By Correcting The Levels Of Progesterone, Thereby Stimulating The Lining Of The Uterus To Prepare For A Pregnancy And Protect An Existing Pregnancy. This Helps In The Treatment Of Infertility And Prevents Spontaneous Abortion (Miscarriage).

Estradiol is used in combination with gonadotropin in infertility patients. Estradiol is also combined with certain progestins to prevent pregnancy.Hence the hormone has multiple use based on the dose,timing given and drugs combined with it.
