Will These Medications Cause Any Side Effects?
My friend just overdosed 5 tablets of crocin (paracetamol) and combiflam each.is it too dangerous? Is it fatal or just some mild side effects? I can't tell this to her family or mine. Can it be ignored? Can the side effects be ignored. Waiting for a quick reply. Thank you.

Your friend has taken total 10 doses of paracetamol(5 from crocin and 5 from combiflam) and 5 doses of ibuprofen(from combiflam).Both these drugs have relatively good safety margin and this dose usually do not cause much trouble(usual fatal dose for paracetamol is 20 tablets of 500mg).But since she has taken them together, she should be kept under observation in the hospital for 24-48 hours,and should have function tests(both these are mainly excreted by liver),and supportive care.You should never ignore this.inform her family so that they can keep an eye,to avoid further mishaps.
