Greetings, this is Dr.Soliman and I will be your healthcare assistant.
Normally after thyroid removal, the blood sugar level will increase due to insufficient level of thyroid hormones but as a regular procedure after the thyroid removal, she will receive levothyroxine as a substitute for the thyroid hormones for life and the dose will be adjusted every year according to the level the body metabolism ratio, but normally her blood glucose level will fluctuate soon after the surgery and she might need to increase dosage of her diabetic medications until the levothyroxine take effect and her metabolism level return to normal and this is temporary and no need to worry about it and I wish she get well soon.
