Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hello,

I carefully read your concern and I am trying to give you an answer.
The symptoms you reported to have are not related with the thyroid or thyroxin rather than with the antibiotics you have taken.

One of the most common side effects of the antibiotics is candida and it can be manifested with white dry tongue.

You should continue the treatment with thyroxin but I would recommend you to discuss with your doctor about starting a treatment for candidiasis.
Hope the suggestion will be helpful.
Best regards,
I find this answer helpful
