Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
As per your first question planning two separate operations will be more problematic as the risks of
anesthesia in your case will be doubled, moreover, the mental
stress level on two separate occasions will be more as compared to one time. After sedating you, everything will be fine both the surgeons will do their task one by one and manage you in a single attempt of anesthesia so it is a better choice that you undergo these surgeries in a single anesthesia.
Moreover, the risk of infection with low
IgG is there but your doctors have the solution too, IgG is available in market, which can be given to you if you need and also a good cover of antibiotic will be given to you so the risk of infection can be minimized this way.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Maryum
