Within The Last 4 Months I Quit Drinking Soda, (working

Within the last 4 months I quit drinking soda, (working shift work I would drink a minimum of 2 - 3 litters of Pepsi and at least 3 energy drinks, the tall cans) and started loosing weight. Then I changed jobs, I had been a boiler operator for a large hospital with rotating shift work to a normal desk job. Since I have quit drinking soda it seems as if my bladder has shrank. I have lost 60lbs but am having a harder time controlling my bladder for urination. When I have to urinate, it is URGENT and I have to urinate at least 3 times in the night. Should I be concerned or is this just natural with the uptake of water. To make matters worse at night I suffer from extreme leg cramps around my longus? (outside ankle muscle) and its so bad that is wakes me up and I cannot walk right because my foot is twisted. Would this be because of the excessive water I am drinking (electrolyte imbalance) or something far worse?
