Worried About Spots On Backs Of Eyes?

i went to the eye doc last week and she said after doing a few things that i have spots on the back of both eyes close to something im not sure what she called it i think it starts with an m she is sending me to a specialist but thats not for a few more months so im a bit worried

It seems from the history that you are having black spots in the back of the eyes as told by your eye doctor.
These are called as floaters and they are because of vitreous degeneration.
They are normally seen after 40 years of age and people with myopia or other refractive errors.
You need not worry for them as they are benign and will not cause any problem.
But a sudden increase in floaters or association of floaters with flashes of light requires evaluation by a retina specialist to rule out retinal problems like retinal tear.
