Would A Pregnancy Test Due To Delayed Menstruation Be Accurate?

I recently stopped taking birth control pills (trinessa) 4 months ago. Since then, my cycles have ranged from 32-36 days, getting longer each month. I am now on day 38 of my current menstrual cycle. Despite a week of pms type symptoms (bloating, slight cramping, etc.) my period has yet to arrive. Would a pregnancy test be accurate at this point? Or am I just late?

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understand your concerns.

I suggest you to take the test 10 days after your period date to have accurate results. Please have that with early morning urine sample which will have high HCG levels at that time if you are pregnant. Dont worry the early pregnancy symptoms ans PMS symptoms both are same almost.

Regards,
Dr.Alekhya.
