Would Taking Zinnat Reduce The Effect Of Yaz Birth Control?
Hi, today I found out that I have urine infection, and my family doctor gave me Zinnat antibiotics for a week. my problem is, I ve been on Yaz birth control for 3/4 months. Would Zinnat reduce Yaz s birth controlling? And is it bad to take antibiotics while taking a pill? Thanks

Understand your concern
Yes zinnat antibiotic reduce the effectiveness of contraceptive.It reduce the circulation level of the estrogen and also affect the metabolism of pill in the liver.
You can take for treatment of UTI but use the other contraception along with it like use barrier contraception like condom and diaphragm for 7 to 10 days.
