Would Taking Oral Vitamin And Phytoceramides Benefit After Having A Skin Graft?
A few months ago I had a skin graft done on my nose for sun damage; skin cancer. The skin graft (taken from behind my left ear), so far shows an area about an inch which is a different colour than the rest of my nose and face. Do you recommend any particular skin cream or oral vitamins, such as Phytoceramides that I would benefit by taking ? Sincerely, Lynn Asquith
I am so sorry to hear about this skin problem that necessitated a graft. The goal of this surgery was to get the wound treated and not esthetics. For sure, they colour can't and would never be the same. .There is just no reason trying to use any products to do that. also, this skin is very fragile and would easily give way should any aggression but applied to in the form of creams, etc to try and change the color. It is a big NO for any creams to be applied here. However, multivitamins and phytoceramide rarely cause any harm. Feel free to take them and if something should happen, then good though would be very unlikely.
