Wrist Injury Due To Cut Glass. Bleeding Steadily. Stitches?

was washing dishes. A glass fell and I tried to catch it. I cut my wrist. it took a bit of elevation and pressure but bleeding has stopped. I bandaged it and a couple of hours later picked up a couch cushion and it started bleeding steadily again. Have stopped it again. This time applied a butterfly to close and an ace bandage to remind me to keep my wrist immobile. should I consider stitches? the cut is approx. 1cm long, but has a deeper eye in the middle, but does close with butterfly.

Hi..
Thanks for the query..
Bleeding should stop in max of 5-6 min even very deep unless you are on any blood thinning drugs like aspirin or clopidogrel...
If there is too much of mobility also there are chances of recurrent bleeding..
If there is bleeding after you remove butterfly you definitely have to consider sutures...
Hope this information helps you.. Take care...
