X-ray Report Says Fibrolinear Opacity Noted In The Lungs, Slight Dextroscoliosis Of The Dorsal Vertebrae. What Does It Mean?

Hi i got my x.ray result yesterday. It says that Fibrolinear opacity is noted at the left upper lung field. The rest of the lung fields are clear. The heart is not enlarged. The pulmonary vessels are within normal limits. The trachea is in the midline. Both hemidiaphragms are distinct. There is slight dextroscoliosis of the dorsal vertebrae. Conclusion; chronic inflamatory process, left upper lung field status quo. Slight dextroscoliosis of the dorsal spine .what does this mean? im very woried bcause im working.

Hello Marie,
Your report says that there is a thin line shaped opacity in the upper part of left lung.
Status quo indicates that it has been compared with an old xray and that there is no change in the shadow.
Slight dextroscoliosis of the dorsal vertebrae --> there is slight angulation of your backbone right in the region of chest. If you don't have any backache, deformity it can be ignored.
If the left upper lobe shadow has been remaining same for a long period and you have no health issue , it could be healed remnant of some injury/infection in past
