Yellow Mucus. Feeling Of Mucus Stuck In The Throat, Unable To Cough Up, Raspy Voice. Relief With Mucinex Nasal Spray. Suggested Z Pac. Nervousness And Anxiety To Leave Home. Help
Mucus started about 6 days ago....I do not have a fever or cold....the mucus is yellow in color...I just get nervous as the mucus goes to the lower part of my throat and it feels like it is stuck there...so i am unable to cough it up...I did start using Mucinex and it does help well....The doctor prescribed me a Z pac...however im to afraid to take it...the saline spray works wonders...I have a raspy voice at times....Im just to nervous to leave the house as my anxiety has taken over...I feel good but why is my body producing so much mucus.....never had it before...please help..Thank You!

Mucous started 6 days ago, it is yellow, in the back part of the throat, got cured with mucinex, and saline spray some times voice is raspy.
It appears to be the infection of the sinuses, with bacteria. it won't go to the lower part of the throat, it will go into the stomach.
I advise you to consult an E.N.T.surgeon for diagnosis and treatment, You need an antibiotic for complete cure of the condition. You may need to have an X ray besides other routine tests for confirmation.
