Hello,
thanks for using health care magic
Yellow pinkish discharges between periods are not a normal
symptom together with bleeding after sex. Both symptoms
are highly suggestive of a
genital tract infection which is most
probably chronic.
In addition to a possible infection, the symptoms could be
indicative of more severe conditions such as cancer.
It will be imperative to visit a doctor for detail examination,
speculum exam and for tests such as vaginal smear for
gram staining,
ultrasound to rule out chronic
pelvic inflammatory disease, Chlamydia
serology etc.
You will be put on antibiotics depending on the germ(s) that
will be incriminated and the antibiotic should be cyclical for up
to three cycles ( i.e. you shall be on antibiotics after each
menses for the next two menses that will follow your present
treatment) so as to effective erradicate the germ which could
use menstrual blood as a good culture medium.
Hope this helps you,
Best regards
Dr Achuo
