it may be sputum or pus from sinuses. better to consult a chest physician and get examined.chest xray is needed. antibiotic course to be followed under your doctor guidance. wish u a good recovery.

It could be sputum or phlegm which is yellow in colour.This denotes an infection of throat or sinuses or chest.This needs to be attended by a Physician as early possible .I advise you to visit your Physician and get examined.He may advise you an antibiotic course to treat the infection.
Meanwhile please keep doing salt water gargling and steam inhalation frequently to reduce the infection and to ease your symptoms.
