Hi, I have gotten zits behind my ears for years. Now, I have a boil behind my left ear that has been there for about a week. I also have one on my right ear lobe that has been there for about 24 hours. How can I avoid getting these and get rid of the ones I have?

by the way you have described the lesions it looks more of skin infection in ear area.can be folliculitis due to hair infection.if it has pus in those lesions then its better to consult a specialist so that it can be drained and proper dressing done along wit appropriate antibiotics and pain killers given.proper hygiene as first basic step can be done.if it keeps recurring then blood investigations to be considered
