after pacemaker implantation..the send home sheet says to watch for and call doc if swelling of the arm or hands on the implant side happens to call doc..what are the possible causes of the swelling? there is no fever..no redness..no swelling of implant site..no discoloration of site..tiny drop of blood at corner of incision site on corner of bandage..no odor..will call doc first thing in morning to report..my question is why do they say to watch out for swelling of the arms and/orhands on implant side
