at 1500 on thurs I underwent c3/4 cervical decrompression with laminectomy, prescribed paracetamol and codeine phosphate. discharge at11.30 am Friday. YYYY@YYYY . was given parcetomol 500. and codeine phosphate. At 2.00am saturday I was taken to hospital by ambulance. my pain was a 10. casualty doc prescribed oromorph 5mg at the given dose rate. also ibruprofen 200 mg. I was awoken at 3.30 am shivering uncontrollably. I have had 3 small sips of water ,mouth very dry. body temp rocketed. I now have 2 wet flannels over wrists body temp more settled. need advice regards James Titley.
