Back, Head Injury, Head And Lower Back Pain, Stiffness. Advise?
I was trying to dunk a basketball and I grabbed onto the rim but then I slipped when my body went under me. I fell to the ground and landed on my back and head, really hard. This happened this morning. My head hurt all morning and then I took a pain killer around 1:00 pm and my head pain kind of went away. My lower back has been in a lot of pain all day. My neck is feeling a little stiff as well. What should I do?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The pain and stiffness in the head and neck after an injury could be due to a soft tissue injury, hematoma formation or a bone injury. A direct examination and MRI scan will help in proper confirmation. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
