Chest Pains In Pregnancy.

Hello I am 18 weeks pregnant..my chest feels tight and hard to take deep breaths. it feels like my chest bones are caving in on my lungs..is this normal?? Never been pregnant before ..

Out of experience I suggest that you go and speak to your doctor about these pains! Don't ever feel that you'd rather not bother the doctor with something that may be trivial, the doctor will not mind at all, and it is the health of your baby that you need to consider as well as your own.

hi,thanks for query.During pregnancy as the uterus grows in size,it displaces the stomach in late pregnancy.In the initial months some dyspepsia is common which can present like chest pain.Routine Chest pain are not common and if you are having then your should visit your doctor and get your self examined in general and your blood pressure need to be checked.Please visit your gynecologist at the earliest.
