I was bit by a dog protecting its owner s belongings at a park around three days ago. I went to a doctor and got the tetanus shot but I wasn t sure if i needed the rabies vaccine as well. I was able to ask the owner of the dog if his dog had taken all his shots and he replied yes. However, I m having a hard time trusting his words completely due to the fact taht rabies is a serious disease . the dog did not bite very hard but it did break my skin through the jeans I was wearing. the jeans did not cut in the area its teeth marks were at. I was wondering if its still possible for me to contract the disease?
