I am 27 years old. taking progynova 2mg, 2 tablets twice a day for 3 months becaude of scanty periods and have a 28 day cycle. i had unprotected sex with my husband on 22nd august but he ejaculated outside. my last menstrual period was on 6th august. i was due on 3rd september but i am not down yet. also did a pregnancy test on 3rd september and its a negative. i dont want to get pregnant. 1) is it possible that my periods may get delayed? 2) when can i expect to get down and till when should i wait? is my home test pregnancy (I CAN) has given me a correct result i.e. negative or its unreliable? 3) when can i do the test again? 4) is there a blood test as well if i want to detect an early pregnancy?
