I Have A Cough That Just Will Not Go Away.

i have a cough that just will not go away. i have taken two antibiotics and have cough medicine with codeine for bed. this has lasted for over a month and still no relief. I have also had a chest x-ray. the doctors say brochitis but not sure it would last this long? any help would be great.
