I have read that there is a relationship between gum health and heart health. A few years ago i was referred to my doctor by my dentist to have an ECG and investigate a possible reason for apparent poor blood supply to my teeth, results at the time were deemed "perfect". Circulation problems have been a long-running theme for me with bad circulation to hands and feet since my teens which was attributed to simply having long slender limbs! Anyway, recently i have my felt like these circulation problems (hands and feet) are at there worst in the mornings (they go extra cod and botchy!). I measured my heartrate this morning and it was 42 BPM, this changes when i have a cigarette though but the circuation obviously doesn't improve! My question if anyone has folowed me this far is this.. Am i deluded to think that at age 30, and also being a smoker, that this result of 42 BPM is a good sign?!.. or is it something to do with blood ph or something ? MY thanks to anyone who can help me in this regard.
