Lumbar Spondylosis With Calcification Of The D12-L1
I just checked my health and the doctor asked me to take X ray, he said just want to know why I got anemia. When I read the result , it says XRAY. LS Spine AP and Alteral View, most are normal and only one is Calsification is seen in D12-L1 , intervertebral disc space. Impression : findings are suggestive of lumbar spondylosis with calcification of the D12-L1 intervertebral disc space Could you please explain to me what is the meaning ? is it danger ?
Calcification of the intervertebral disc space (due to bony outgrowths called osteophytes) is a normal aging process. This condition called lumbar spondylosis is common above the age of 50. It is usually asymptomatic.
