My Daughter Had An Internal Gynecological Exam. The Doctor Asked

my daughter had an internal gynecological exam. The doctor asked her if she used tampons and (being a virgin) she said she would do an internal (to check for cysts or something). She may have
used a speculum, not sure or just digital examination but it hurts very much for a few seconds. Bottom
line my daughter says the vaginal area is itching (like when she had yeast infection recently and she took the vaginal medicine for it). Could that mean an infection or just irritated? This was two days ago
