Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my wife is 48 and last week she miscarried again. We were away on business and this is the 4th time in 2 years this has happened. She is animic with a heavy flow during her cycle. She has Fibroid tumors and she had a stroke at the age of 40, non brain bleed. We have gone to fatility clinics and she miscarried twice there also. Yesterday she had a physical with our family doctor. At 3:00 am he called our home and told me to get her to the hospital her blood count was 5.4. The hospital admitted her and gave her 2 pints of blood. A doctor thinks that she maybe suffering from Antiphosolipid Syndrome. With all her history no doctor has ever mentioned this syndrome, today I hear it from 2 doctors. So they are going to test her tomorrow. What exactly is this syndrome? and what is the cure and can this correction help her from not miscarrying.?
