Hi
Thanks for writing your query
Once the bone unites and later on consolidate it becomes the bone prior to fracture. He will be able to walk.
Having said that fractured bone of polio patient takes longer time to unite. So, do not be in hurry and go as per your doctor advice.
Take diet rich in calcium and vitamin D (1000mg/1000i.u. per day).
Take care and I shall be glad to answer any further query.
