we have a friend who is 77 years old who has a history of smoking and heavy drinking.about 4 years go he was hospitalized for a collapsed lung.this was treated and he seemed to be alright he doesn't smoke anymore but he still drinks beer heavily. now he has air pockets in the lungs and has trouble breathing.he was treated at hospital and given medication.what should he avoid ?how should he live with these poor lungs?
