Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a mole removed by a dermatologist using a 6mm punch biopsy. The mole was right where the tricep meets the bicep. It s been 8 days. The past three days, I have had horrible pain spotted throughout my arm. Mostly in the central inner bicep, and also the forearm near the inside of the elbow. Why? And how do I get the pain to stop?
The pain is most probably just due to the removal of the mole, and I am sure your doctor was extra careful in taking care not to damage any surrounding structures as this region is indeed slightly sensitive.
I think 8 days should have been more than sufficient to over come the pain, but if it is still present then this may warrant a physical examination by a doctor. In the meantime you could keep the region clean and dry, and apply a warm compress to the region to help promote blood circulation and in turn healing.
Best wishes.

What Causes Pain In The Arm Post Mole Removal?
