HI,
I understand your concern.
The weight gain after delivery is an indication of less physical activities as compared to the diet taken.
It is an accepted fact that a feeding mother should take 100 calories more than normal. But these calories should be in form of proteins( mixed pulses, milk, sprouts, vegetables, fruits )
* I observe you are taking more of carbohydrates in your diet ( bickuites made of refined flour & sugar & fat/ chapatis/ rice )it's lacking in vegetables, salads, fruits, milk.
Actually feeding mother should take high protein, vitamin, calcium & iron rich diet. Please get your diet planned by a dietitian.
* A nursing does need exercises in form of light walk/
yoga exercises to manage her weight gain in
pregnancy as well as health.
*
Thyroid function test & blood
glucose level should be checked & treated as per need.
Thanks.
