What Could Be The Treatment For Echo-free Cyst In Ovary?
Dear Doctor, I visited my physician last week because of the pain I suffered in my ovary along with gaining unusually weight and lots of acne on my face as well as all over my body. I am 30 years old and have a 3 year old son born with a cesarean operation. after applying a sonography it was declared that I have an echo-free cyst (44*38mm) in my right ovary. my andometer thickness was seen 11mm in 17th day of my cycle. as my mother had suffered from the ovary cancer I am a little anxious about it. I will be so thankful if you guide me through the way. many thanks in advance. rosa here is my email address: YYYY@YYYY
Hi, Thanks for the query. In the process of menstrual cycle, functional ovarian cysts can form. According to your endometrial thickness and day of the cycle, that could be a corpus luteal cyst. In case of simple cysts no need to worry. Simple cyst usually presents with features like: - Size less than 5 cms - Cystic consistency -Without septations etc. For more details : http://srsree.blogspot.in/2013/11/ovarian-tumors-differances-between . html You once go for estimation of CA 125 levels. If levels show normal result, you can continue with regular followup. Take care.
