Why When I Am On 3 Blood Pressure Medications That

why when i am on 3 blood pressure medications that i started about 3 weeks ago, is my blood pressure periodically shooting up...most of the time it's good. but a little bit ago it shot up to 199/over89. the fire dept. was there and they took it and it was 150/98. (i was at publix) they took it like 5 minutes later. then the blood pressure machine at publix reset and it was 135/70. this is the seventh time this has happened since january 1st...will i die of a stroke? my blood pressure is between 155/70-125/68...but i'm so stressed out to monitor it then i get high reading. sunday it did it and i went to ER and it came down to 150/70 eventually. i don't know what to do. i'm 58. on toprol 50 xl...losartan 100 mg, and amlodipine 10 and paxil 20. last year i was only on toprol 50 losartan 50 and paxil 20. i've been on the toprol since my 20. ive had one TIA previously and one episode of afib hospitalized. i can't get a regular dr. no insurance, the muslim clinic prescribed my new meds. i'm really really scared of a stroke.
