What Causes Severe Ear Ache?
I suffer from severe earache only in the last 6 or so years( I am 61) . If I sleep on my sides I wake up with earache. It is a pain that is usually severe, can't move my head quickly or it makes it worse. What may be the cause? I've been to doctors who say I have narrow ear canals but can't see a reason why this is happening. I also have been having to have my ears syringed regularly in the last few years

Stop using the syringe this could cause more pain due to the trauma, your pain could be non specific type, and that cab be managed with the following medicine if I would be your doctor then I would surely treat you with the same drug,
1) Tab Amitriptyline at bed time one tab.
