My Kid is 5 months old and we got a stool analysis and routine, it says REPORT - Escherichia Coli . ANTIBIOTIC SENSITIVITY Amikacin - SENSITIVE Gentamicin - Resistant Ceftadizime - Resistant Ciproflaxin - SENSITIVE Cotrimaxazole - SENSITIVE Gatifloxacin - Resistant Norfloxacin - SENSITIVE Cefipime - Resistant Imipenem - SENSITIVE Nitrofurantoin - SENSITIVE Ampicillin-Sulbactum - Resistant. Please let know what this means

Your kids report says that he has growth of E. coli bacteria in the stool or digestive tract is infected with E. Coli. Further the drugs Amikacin, Cipro, Cotima, Norflox, Imipenem and Nitrofurantoin has good effect on this bacteria and are much effective in getting cure from the infectionn.
Other drugs are resistant to the growth of E. Coli and has no effect on the bacteria.
So consult your doctor and take one or two medicine which are sensitive to the E.Coli and get rid from the infection.
