By this month your toddler will be pulling down and removing his/her elastic waist pajamas by self. Keep chatting to him/her as often as you can and engage in long conversations whenever possible. This will help develop his/her verbal communication skills. Your baby should be able to identify a few basic colors as well.
As discussed in the previous months, it is important to continue to be patient with your toddler’s tantrums. Explaining a situation to him/her is still the best way to handle a tantrum. Don’t get annoyed with your toddler if you have been trying to explain situations to him/her over the past few months and find yourself repeating the same thing quite often. It takes a few months for the effects to take place, and it is important to remember that he/she still doesn’t have an adult memory.
