As your child’s third birthday approaches his/her speech will keep improving. You may start noticing that he/she speaks in different tones to different people. He/she will speak in a different tone to his/her friends and in a different tone to you or other elders. This is the result of his/her improved thinking and his/her growing awareness of people around him/her.
Your boy may want to do more things him/herself, like washing him/herself up after play. He/she might be a little messy but at least he/she is learning to be independent. So don’t lose your cool at a dirty bathroom or water all over the floor. It is a part of your child growing up and is a small price to pay to help your child learn independence.
