(A)      Clinical :
     Adult and General Psychiatry patients.
     Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (twice weekly OPD services)

(B) Teaching: I have the experience of teaching in the form of
1.     Clinical skills training to undergraduates, postgraduates and nurses.
2. Taking lectures, structured interactive sessions (SIS), conducting seminars, case
conferences and journal clubs as a chairperson.

(C) Research: I have about 23 years experience of conducting funded/ non-funded research in area of interest or need based research. It also includes teaching of basics of research to academic trainees in psychiatry.
Postgraduate thesis are allotted independently by me and work is supervised during the tenure of 3 years. .

(D) Training: We also impart training to paraprofessionals like nurses and general
duty medical officers in area of deaddiction and Community Mental Health programs.

(E) Administrative Experience:-
(I) As professor and Head for 9 years

(II) As Punjab State Nodal officer of National Mental Health programme for
More than nine years. Was actively involved in planning and
implementation of state level policies of state of Punjab and
represented Punjab in many National level meetings.

(III) As Nodal officer of District Mental Health Programme:
The nodal institute is providing training to various workers up to
Grassroots level i.e. Doctors, Nurses, social workers, clinical
psychologists and no professionals like panchayat leaders, ANM's,
teachers and anganwar workers

(F) Academics: Organized workshops, CME’s and conferences at regional and
National level
