Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
You definitely have hepatitis and yes it seems to be Viral Hepatitis.
But its mandatory to rule out Hepatitis B and C.
You have been tested for B and E.
Do get tested for Hepatitis C. Because that's a chronic virus.
Do not stop Ursodiol tablets without discussing with your doctor and before confirming the cause of Hepatitis.
As far as your query is considered following are my advice's for you:
1. To take high carbohydrate diet like Glucose water.
2. Avoid oily food.
3. You can take average protein diet if you are not constipated. Remember you should never get constipated during the course of viral infection. If you feel you are constipated take Lactulose syrup.
4. Eat enough of green leafy vegetables. No issues with them.
5. Take soup, liquid diet.
6. Don't take any pain killers for any reason.
7. Don't consume alcohol in case you do.
In general you can follow your normal diet and you just have to avoid fatty food.
