Brief Answer:
How to check the blood sugar:

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking!

Yes, there is one way to check the blood glucose from home, but you need to have a glucometer.
If fasting value is over 110 mg/dl or over 140 mg/ dl, pre diabetes or Diabetes is suspected.

Otherwise, you may check the urine with a dipstick, but the blood sugar should be quite high (over 200 mg/dl) to be present in urine.

However, from the symptoms, you reported I would suggest seeing a physician immediately.

Hope I have been helpful. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
